Redbubble Designs

2026 has been a traumatic year with back to back stroke and two different primary cancer diagnoses. Writing has been hit and miss right now as my neurons have been rerouting from the part of my brain that died during the stroke, but I did find gardening and other creative projects to be very therapeutic for me. While recovering from the stroke and cancer surgery, I started designing for dozens of different products on Redbubble to keep my mind active.

I created my shop because I had difficulty finding t-shirts with the images and words I was looking for to express myself…namely ones to explain the new scar I have across my throat from my thyroidectomy. So, I decided to create my own! I started with thyroid cancer awareness and have now added many other categories to my portfolio as my imagination started zinging all over the place. While I only make pennies in commission, the relaxation and fun it’s brought me has been invaluable!
